Come out to Cupertino Girls Who Code’s First Meeting this Wednesday, October 19th at 3pm - 5pm in Rm. 723 (Mr. McLeod).

As a nationally registered club, we will be introducing the official GWC curriculum that we will be using throughout the year, as well as the concepts we will be teaching/covering. Meetings will occur every other Wednesday after school (3pm-5pm). Computers will be provided, but you may bring your own laptop if you would like to. Please visit our website for more information ( and join our Facebook group at ( for updates and more announcements.

See you there!

Hi All,

The flu season is fast approaching. Please read through these tips linked below, and see your doctor for vaccine information.

October  Happenings

Urgent - our membership and donations are down this year as we moved to the electronic form system.  We wanted to save funds on the mailing and help save some trees. But it seems to have impacted us negatively...

PTSA has given tens of thousands of dollars of grants to the school

PTSA supports the school with countless hours of volunteer work for the education, health, and safety of our children.

This year, we are hoping to raise money for additional bike racks, student programs,  grants for teachers, and other programs.

The membership form is located here  and you can donate online via paypal.

We have also attached the form for your convenience if you prefer the paper form and you can submit your donation via check.   If your check has not cleared, please email our VP of Memberships as we may not have received your donation. Her contact information is Anna Weber -

Sign up to Volunteer – “Give 2 Hours”

We encourage parents to also “Give 2 Hours” to support the school and keep the excellent programs going for our students. (And of course we gladly accept more.)

This is a great way to meet other parents and learn more about school, plus it’s very rewarding as well.  Let us know the types of volunteering that interest you and we will contact you throughout the year when those opportunities are available.

Please fill out the 2016-17 PTSA Volunteer Online Form , or if you prefer a printable version 2016-17 PTSA Volunteer Printable Form

Dine out night - Lyfe Kitchen - Tues Sept 27 - please join us! We will receive 15% of the sales

Staff Appreciation Events

The Korean PTSA will be hosting a lunch for the teachers and staff on October 27.  If you are interested in helping, please contact the Korean PTSA directly

"What Is Your Story?"

CHS students are invited to explore their world through art by participating in the 2016/17 PTSA Reflections Art Program.  Choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or short story, compose a song, snap a photograph or create a piece of visual art (including 3-D!) that reflects on and interprets the theme, "What Is Your Story?"

Entries are due in the school office by 9 am, Tuesday, October 18th.  Multiple entries in one or more categories are welcome.  Students with a 504 or IEP are encouraged to participate, and may enter in the Special Artist Division.

Want another good reason to join our PTSA?  The student or his/her parent must be a member of the CHS PTSA to participate in the Reflections Art Recognition Program.
