"ALOHA” from CHS Choirs

5th Annual Santa Clara County High School Art Exhibition - Now through May 15th

The New Museum Los Gatos, 5th Annual Santa Clara County High School Art Exhibition is going on now through May 15th.  The theme this year was "Social Matters".  This is a juried art show that received 845 submissions from over 40 high schools, this year! 54 pieces were chosen to be in the show, 5 coming from CHS!  Out of those 5, 2 received awards on Thursday night! 

If you have a chance to see the show, it is up through May 15th.  It is a wonderful showcase of art in our county!

FBLA Competes at the California State Leadership Conference

CHS FBLA is on Cloud 9 after finish 2nd out of the 100+ schools competing for the past 3 days at the California State Leadership Conference in Ontario (California). Our school district was #1 and #2, with the mighty Homestead taking 1st Place for the 18th consecutive year. Cupertino High School beat both Lynbrook and Monta Vista! On top of our success in Competitions. we had ‘political ‘ success with Sanika Mahajan being elected President of California FBLA. Aviral Pereira was elected Public Relations Officer. 42 of our 64 competitor placed in the top 10 in their events and 33 qualified to represent California in their event at the National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in June.

Senior Athletes!

In memory of Wesley Marks--dedicated boys' JV soccer coach at CHS from 2001-04--his family and friends have established two significant scholarships to be awarded  to two Cupertino High School seniors who have demonstrated both academic and athletic achievement.


  • Academic: Student must have an overall GPA of 3.0
  • Sports: Students must have participated to an athletic endeavor for at least two years while in high school.
  • Other: Student must be a graduating senior and must be attending an accredited institution of higher learning in the fall of 2014.
  • Considerations: Scholarships will be awarded based on the following factors: academic strength, athletic achievement, financial need, and personal assessment.


  1. Completed Application (forms in the CCC)
  2. Personal essay- please submit an essay describing yourself, family, hopes and aspirations for the future (include anything else that you'd like the committee to know about you).
  3. Letter of Recommendation from CHS faculty member
  4. Letter from coach or trainer detailing athletic achievement


All application packets must be submitted to the College and Career Center no later than Friday, May 6th, 2016.

This year, Junior Parent College Night will be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 6:30-8:00pm. 


What is Junior Parent College Night? It's an evening designed to guide parents through the wonders of the college-planning process and what the beginning of senior year entails. 


This year, a panel of admission representatives, from a variety of universities, will discuss the many wonders of the college planning process including: application deadlines, costs and tuition, personal essay prompts, how to apply, and much more.
